REVIEW: anada is the one of the sweethearts on the foodie precinct of Gertrude and lower Smith Streets. Booking is currently limited to early or late. Sit at the bar, out on the foothpath, the main dining space or at the communal table out back, for anada's Andalusian flavours either for a quiet snack, a full meal, or late night supper. Seating on high stools is very traditional for Spanish tapas bars, and the food is classical Spanish with dishes offered as tapas or raciones, as well as a tasting menu for six or more. The food shows flare and the use of good ingredients, with refined but authentic flavours. The service is professional but friendly and eager to please.
WINE : The wine list is mostly Spanish with some interesting Australians making up the varietal mix, with well chosen tap wines.
