The Adelaide Showground Farmers Market has lift off! The new Adelaide Showground Farmers Market will be opening on October 1. The venue for the new Market is the Dairy Cattle Lawn and surrounding sheds at the Leader Street end of the Showgrounds. The Market is entirely sponsored by the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society, who have appointed Zannie Flanagan (who initiated the Willunga Farmers Market) as the Project Manager. The Market will be run as a community based not-for-profit incorporated body with a general membership base of producers and community members.
