REVIEW:
Monthly produce market that does regular features on the various regions of NSW ...

The Rocks Farmers Markets, with a unique reputation for featuring the regions of NSW welcomes the Mid North Coast, along with Spring, beginning this Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October.

Food loving city dwellers can buy Springýs best with a short stroll down to the historic Rocks rather than travelling to Seal Rocks, 275km north of Sydney or as far as Woolgoolga, 562 km north of Sydney. Every Friday and Saturday until 6 and 7 November, up to12 producers, new to Sydney Farmerýs markets and not appearing anywhere else, will showcase and sell their wares alongside the Markets regular stall holders. Everything from Sydney Rock Oysters from pristine waters to handmade goats cheese and smoked yellowfin tuna (see list at end).

Located a hop, skip and a jump from Circular Quay the setting is sublime and easy to access. Ideal for a quick shop or to linger and relax, sitting in the sun or enjoying market menus from local eateries along with music from the Marketsý resident funk-reggae musicians.

Join award-winning celebrity cook and regional food fan Lyndey Milan as she leads lunchtime market tours, providing quick recipe ideas and hosting roving interviews with the producers. Hear their stories, learn about the provenance of the food you buy and rejoice in its quality and freshness.

Runs from 10am to 5pm Friday and Saturday, Jack Mundey Place cnr Argyle and George St The Rocks.

This is a joint initiative of Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority and Industry and Investment NSW and the Mid North Coast Region.
