The vineyard dates back to 1909, originally known as Mistletoe Farm, and now produces consistently good wines.
The art Gallery carries some of Australia's best artists and is worth a visit in itself ... Mistletoe is a charming vineyard worthy of inclusion of any trip to the Hunter.

Mistletoe (est. 1989) is an extremely small, family-owned vineyard and cellar door located at Pokolbin in the beautiful lower Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia.
Our select range of wines is only available at the cellar door or through our website. Visit us to taste our wines, or order online. At the vineyard, you can also visit the Pokolbin Gallery which has an outstanding range of artworks for viewing and sale.


The Winery

The North-Western corner of Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley was previously known as "Mistletoe".

Over the years it has been renowned for the wines it has produced. To help us maintain a link with the history of the area, we have named our small family owned vineyard "Mistletoe".


Quality Wines

Mistletoe produces extremely small quantities of Award Winning premium table wines from our vineyards of low yielding non-irrigated vines. The wines are virtually sold exclusively, direct to lovers of quality wines, at our cellar door or through our website.

These are individual vineyard wines made from the classic Hunter Valley grape varieties - Shiraz, Semillon & Chardonnay.

Twilight Tastings

The Mistletoe cellar door houses Pokolbin Gallery where we have on display and available for purchase an ever changing display of paintings, ceramics, glassware, specialist woodturnings, sculptures and other works of art.

We have a close working association with Cooks Hill Fine Art Gallery in Newcastle as well as other fine talented local artists. The exhibits change approximately every 8 weeks, so there is always something fresh and interesting to view each time you visit.

Featured artists may include:

John Coburn, Bryan Stratton, Tim Storrier, Brett Whitely, Judy Talacko, Jim Olsson, John Perceval, Matthew Perceval, Margeret Olley, Huge Sawrey, Susan Weaver, Susan Sheridan, Lorna Wall, Isabel Pringle, Ken Strong, Jack Collis, etc.

Sculpture Garden

Take the time when visiting Mistletoe to take a tour of the scupltures exhibited throughout the grounds and gardens. Follow the map you pick up at our cellar door to view and marvel at the many and varied works of talented local and distant sculptors. Works in concrete, stone, steel, stainless steel, copper, wood, etc. Most works are available for purchase - shipping can be arranged if required.
