2008 Hardy's HRB/D639 - Riesling

Country of origin: Argentina
Area/Appellation: Adelaide Hills
Variety/Style: Riesling
Cellaring: Now - 2015
Supplier Agent: Constellation Wines
Availability: Limited
Price Range: $33.00

Tasting Note:
While many Australian quality reds are made by blending the same grapes from different areas, it is rather less usual for whites. But this is an absolute cracker of a riesling blended from Clare (70%) and Tasmania (30%) that draws on the best of both and loses nothing in the translation.
Aromatic and spicy, with hints of apple and lemon, the juicy fruit on the palate held together with fine minerality and long finish. It's simply gorgeous now but willage for five or more.
